Eric Clapton w trakcie swojej ponad 50-letniej kariery napisał mnóstwo fantastycznych piosenek, z których wiele jest już klasykami rocka i bluesa. "Forever Man" to potrójna kompilacja która prezentuje różne oblicza twórczości 19-krotnego laureata Grammy. 

Zestaw ukaże się 11 maja 2015 roku. Zebrano na nim najlepsze piosenki Slowhanda, jakie nagrał w minionym 30-leciu. Jest ich 51. Kompilacja zawiera zarówno nagrania studyjne, koncertowe oraz stricte bluesowe kompozycje, których Clapton w minionych trzech dekadach popełnił sporo. Solowe, ale także z repertuaru grupy Cream. Są na składance nagrodzone Grammy piosenki "Change The World", "Tears In Heaven", "Bad Love", utwory z albumów, które Grammy zdobyły, "From The Cradle" i "Unplugged". Mamy też numery, w których pojawiają się goście – przyjaciele Erica, w tym B.B. King i nieżyjący już J.J. Cale.

Wydanie "Forever Man" zbiegnie się w czasie z kolejną trasą koncertową Erica Claptona, który 30 marca 2015 roku skończy 70 lat. Na scenie będą mu towarzyszyć wybitni muzycy: Paul Carrack, Steve Gadd, Nathan East, Chris Stainton, Sharon White, Michelle John, a w roli supportu wystąpi grupa Andy Fairweather Low And The Low Riders. Zaplanowano między innymi koncerty w nowojorskiej Madison Square Garden i londyńskiej Royal Albert Hall.
